This project reinterprets industrial-inspired design through a refined residential lens, balancing textural depth with warm ambient lighting to create a sophisticated yet comfortable living and dining environment.

At the heart of the design is the feature television wall, where a concrete-textured surface is paired with vertical fluted panels and integrated LED light strips. This layered composition introduces depth, rhythm, and subtle drama while maintaining a clean, contemporary profile. The low media console grounds the wall visually and conceals functional storage, ensuring the space remains uncluttered.

Adjacent to the living area, the dining zone is defined by a custom-built cabinetry wall finished in deep wood tones. A recessed counter niche provides practical workspace and appliance storage, while integrated under-cabinet lighting enhances both usability and mood. The illuminated glass display cabinet becomes a focal element, transforming the client’s collectibles into a curated feature that adds personality and visual interest.

Lighting plays a pivotal role throughout the space. Linear ceiling lights reinforce the architectural geometry, while the sculptural pendant above the dining table introduces movement and softness, balancing the heavier material palette of stone, wood, and metal-inspired finishes.

The cohesive material language, warm greys, dark wood, stone textures, and soft golden lighting create a layered atmosphere that feels modern, intimate, and grounded. By carefully integrating storage, display, and lighting into the architectural envelope, the design achieves a balance between expressive materiality and everyday functionality.
